mission, vision, and values

Mission

We want to encourage people to enjoy a relationship with God and one another as we journey through life together.

Vision

Our vision is to build a family of believers where people are welcome to come as they are, hear the gospel and give their life to Christ; where every individual, regardless of age, culture or background is equally valued.

We want to build a healthy, vibrant church by living out the five biblical purposes God established for His church:

Worship- Celebrating who God is.

Ministry- Serving others with our unique gifts and talents.

Evangelism- Outreaching to others in our own personal lives, our local community and abroad.

Discipleship- Learning and growing in Jesus Christ

Fellowship- Connecting with others. We were not meant to live life alone.

Lastly, we believe that the body of Christ should consistently experience the joy, laughter and peace that is only found in relationship with Christ. In other words, the atmosphere of chuch should be fun!

Core Values

God’s Word
The Bible is God’s love letter to mankind. It is the clearest description of who He is, His love for us and what He desires for our lives. We believe it should be communicated in a clear, non-judgmental way, allowing God Himself to speak to each individual where he or she is at in their life’s journey.

Connection
God created us with a need for connection with Him and with others. Life was never meant to be lived alone. We believe the church is a family where authentic love, nurturing, caring and growth takes place.

Spirit–filled Praise
Where people respond in praise when they realize the very nature of God and who He is.

Outreach
Reaching others for Christ is not a program, but a way of life. God has strategically brought people into our lives. Each of us live in a circle of influence, be it our family, neighbors, co-workers or others we come into contact with on a regular basis. Outreach should flow easily and naturally as we show genuine kindness and concern for who people are and what they are going through.

The Church As A Body
Just as every part of a physical body is critical in order for it to function properly and at it’s highest potential, every individual and every ministry is equally valued in the church.

Strengthening Families
Equipping and encouraging husbands, wives, moms, dads and kids of all ages to build a loving home, a safe haven where God’s Word is taught and exemplified through the deepest, most intimate relationships God created.

Identifying Gifts & Talents
The Lord created each person with gifts and talents to serve others and fulfill their God-given purpose. The church family helps and encourages each person to ascertain and use his/her gifts to become servant leaders who lead in their church, home and the world with humility, grace and strength.

A Life of Worship
Worship is not just a ministry of the musical. Life-giving worship doesn’t only happen when we gather on Sunday services nor is it an event; it’s our lifestyle. Every area of our lives are involved when we define worship as devoting our time, attention and affection to Him. At home, at work or at play it is the calling of every believer. The bible says to “offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your true worship.”
